We are performing a scheduled upgrade to our database infrastructure to improve performance and reliability.
Expected Impact: Brief connection drops may occur during instance upgrades. Applications with retry logic should reconnect automatically. Some API latency spikes are expected throughout the maintenance window.
What we're doing: Upgrading RDS database instances across US and EU regions to newer generation hardware (AWS Graviton4) for improved performance.
